Generating chain patterns in tetramax tool

Hi All,
I am new to tetramax tool and when I am trying to create chain test I seeing the following error
"Chain test can not be created due to patterns constrainted to apply a clock"

Can anyone help me what's going wrong what may be the possible solution.
For creating chain test I am using following statements
Code: 
set_atpg -chain_test 0011
run_atpg basic_scan_only
