Does anyone have the programming protocol to the GAL22? I know the chip is old. In the late 80s, Xilinx had the protocol in their databooks, but they removed it in the 90s.

you could developp your own algorithm using the universal programmer
all03 from hilosystems : look at the sources at:

You'dd better try to come with remanufacturing the all03 universal device
programmer for which all explanations is given and that can support
lots of parts.
Also furthermore you can developp with it your own programming
algorithms , adaptors, etc.. using the DJGPP Compiler.
All the sources are Free Public License.
so have a look at **broken link removed** and **broken link removed**
So far , do know that for now with this programmer, you may be
able with some software to read out secured PALs and GALS and
even secured Microcontrollers even Microcontrollers for which Motorola
have prevented the idea top read back the part. This is only done by
tricky and guessing verification Methods .
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any need of reading back
a secured PALC16V8H, PALCE22V10, any any Pals or Gals,
Best Regards,
MB.

even if you need to readback MOS Micronctrollers
MC68705P3, P5, R3, R5, U3, U5. Do not hesitated to contact me!

Any of the general programmer can be done!

Hello
I want to fix an Agilent 6626 power supply, damage output is controlled by a microprocessor mc68705p3, I put the microprocessor from a good one and out is working , my problem is to clone or rewrite faulty processor. I not found a simple programmer to read mc68705p3 I tried beeprog but does not activate the reader botton for this processor. Matthieu's schedule page ( **broken link removed** )require a preprogrammed mc68705p3 so a circle can not be out. In conclusion mc68705p3 can be programmed with Beeprog but can not read the contents of the good one , just looking for a simple programmer to read mc68705p3 Agilent HP6626A.jpg please help me !
Thank you
Costas

Hi,
Just for information
I have updated the MC68705P3 reader resource page recently **broken link removed**
now a pcb is available (eagle format) thanks for the work from Dénis Paucas,

you can use the circuit for write the 68705-1.bin program. with this steps:

1. copy the 68705-1.bin in 6116 Eprom (AT28C16 for me)
2. leave Socket 1 empty
3. Socket 2 with UC
4. pin 17 in socket 1 to GROUND
5. I1->5V, I3->25V, I4->Program.
6. pin 19 in socket 1 to +5V
WRITE begins!
Matthieu.
