hi guys,
how do you usually optimize the two stage pre-amplifier gain' s allocation?
the preamplifier is used in a comparator.
should I use the two identical pre-amplifiers for the two stages or make difference between them?
thanks.

Hey gentleman!
Hi.
You cant use 2 identical pre amp as cascade . because their out put impedance and input impedance can not match.
you should use 2 stage pre amplifier as cascade , with considerating out put and input inpedance. it is very simple with op amp. but if you want to use transistor , i suggest you common base pre amplifier because its response is good and its input impedance will low .
