hello there,
Chopper amplifiers are sometimes called chopper-stabilized amplifiers, what does 'stabilized' mean here, does it mean chopper amplifiers are always stable ? please help, thanks!
regards,
henry

The term is refering to a stabilized DC operation point (= cancelling drift).

There is other kind: offset-stabilized amplifier - which consists from 2 branches. The first one is high speed, low gain, high offset. The second one is low speed, high gain, low offset. Of course it works with a proper frequency compensation.
So when chopper amplifier is used for the second branch it's called chopper-stabilized amplifier.
