from power supply of PC make source produce 48 v??
as we know PS is commen ground ,please Iwant if experimentally do that

Thank you in advanced :)

You whant to change design of PC power supply or can be PC power supply used as source of power for DC to DC for required needs ?

If is first variant PC power supply should experience lots of changes, even on HF trafos.

That small trafo is hard to dissassemble (but I found the waz on Internet for that, and its possible).

Instead of redesigning or modifying the PC power supply, use the PC power supply as the 12V input. Then, make a 12V to 48V DC-DC converter. You can use a small ferrite transformer for this with push-pull converter, or you can use a non-isolated boost converter. Do a little search on boost converters if you don't know about them. Also, read about push-pull converters if you don't know about them. Then, start on the design phase. It won't be too difficult and you can always find us here if you need help.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

If you want to see a working 12->48v design that works well (it has been working well for me for over a year), see
http://badcafe.co.uk/category/poe/
It uses one inductor, and it is for 150W but could easily handle more if you follow the ic datasheet.
