Hello all,

I am trying to simulate the frequency response of a simple rectifier using HB in ADS (Vdc x Freq). I have set the sweep variable to be the frequency of the power source of the circuit. When I perform the simulation, however, I get a constant dc output voltage which does not depend on the input frequency. Normally the cut-off frequency of such rectifier should be around 1GHz. Anyone can give a hint here on how to perform this simulation?

Thanks!

ac simulation would not work here as it operates around a bias point. Do transient analysis across frequencies. Or do you have this problem in transient analysis?
