FPGA based surveillance system

i would like to do a surveillance sys with the specs below:
i) detect motion
ii) tracking
iii) recognise or differentiate between human or things such as rats etc.

can anyone suggest to me, which FPGA board is suitable for this proj include the manufacturer. Thank u very much
 

Before you select your FPGA you need to determine how you are going to accomplish the three items you specified.

Once you have deteremined how you are going to do those items you will then have a better idea of what you need to do inside the FPGA. This will keep you from choosing a device that is either too big or too small. Also knowing what you need to do in the FPGA will also allow you to choose a part based on available resources.

For such an application, a CPU may even be more suited.
