formula for fifo full and empty for non 2**N depth and odd depth

1. What will be the formula with the write pointer and read pointer values to indicate FIFO full and FIFO empty for FIFOs having depth of non 2**N ( 2 TO THE POWER N) where N is an integer?


2. What will be the formula with the write pointer and read pointer values to indicate FIFO full and FIFO empty for FIFOs having depth in odd number and also depth which is of non 2**N ( 2 TO THE POWER N) where N is an integer?
