which type of capacitor should be used to design a low pass lc filter for the output of the h-bridge , driven by spwm of 16khz carier frequency and 50hz fundamental frequency? i have used an electrolytic capacitor for filtration but as i turned on my circuit ,,my mosfets oh h bridge blown out,,,

IT'S neccesary to use AC capacitor in filter because ur output is now in AC so be care full with thiz
 

See the example filter. At 4KHz it reduce about 100db and has 0.2db at 50HZ
