Hi all,

I have some audio test files in wav format. Each of the wav file contains one signal. I cleaned my signals with preprocessing but it is not cleaned 100%, of course. Lets talk on one audio wav file.
If that wav file is 3 seconds and the real signal is only 1 sec, somewhere in the middle; how can we determine its duration with MATLAB? Also I wonder how can I find the highest, lowest and middle frequencies. SInce the noise can not be removed totally, is there a way to calculate those features?

Thank you

your question is not clear. generally FFT can be used to find the frequency components in a signal.
