Hi,

I've designed and layed out an IC in Cadence for fabrication. I want to do some characterisation and testing using multism, is there a way of exporting the schematic and symbol from Cadence to multism?

Thanks

I am doubtful, Cadence has historically had very little interest
in abetting escape. Your best bet may be to dump a Spectre
netlist and postprocess it to a MultiSim compatible syntax.

And how do I do that or better still is there a way of creating a PSpice model for the IC in cadence?

Same as dick_freebird's advice (above): In C@dence create a SPICE netlist, then edit it for PSPICE peculiarities. See here how to do this.

Thanks guys, I got a way around it. Created a spice netlist from cadence ade, tweaked the file a little bit and got it to work in both Pspice and multisim.
