export s-parameters cadence

Hello,

I'm using Cadence Virtuoso with the Analog Design Enviornment. I am preforming s-parameter simulations on a two-port circuit, and was wondering whether I can export the simulated data out to s2p format so I can use it in other CAD tools.

Can anyone help on that?

Regards,
Ilan

of course
choose sp analysis
and then u will find option to export to S2P file

David

thanks, just saw that option there.

hi David
Chould you please provide some more details about "Exporting s-parameters from Cadence"??

Thankyou.

I have the same problem and find the solution:

in the ADE window: Results>Print>S-Parameters>2-Port (for example)
In the open window "Result Display Window" done these command:
Window>Print. In the print option choose Print to file and insert the name of the file, for example: 2port_par.s2p, then press OK. The file with s-par of your network is done.

In SP Analysis (Choose Analysis), click on options.
In OUTPUT PARAMETERS section, enter your file name (say param.s2p).
Select datafmt to be touchstone (i.e. SnP)

Run the simulation and you can use the file in ADS or any other simulator.
