Hi all,

I'm facing a problem in solving question 9.11 in sklar book. I have it's solution manual but the way he solved the problem confuse me. According to the question the Eb/No given is 7.3db but he used Eb/No=5.6db to solved the problem. Same goes to Q9.12 where the Eb/No given is 10db but he used Eb/No=8db to solve the problem. Can somebody explain to me why the Eb/No used is differ from the question given. Thanks a lot.
