Executable file that can converts .HEX to .MOT format

Hi all,

I'm testing IAR and MTOOL (Mitsubishi Tool) with the M16C uC. My problem is that the flash loader (from Mitsubishi and also the one from Triaptic) all ask me for MOT files and I can't get IAR to generate them.

What do I need to convert the IAR output (motorola S format) to MOT ?

Japanese manufacturers tend to name their S-record files MOT files. Just change the extension to MOT o make the programmer happy.

How do you run the executable HEX to MOT program ?

I ran the program in DOS and got this output when i converted a hex file to an s2 file.

"invalid record type"
