hi .....
can we perform EMC tests on vehicles using the mil-std chambers???
what does the amplifier room mean? is it the same as reverberation room??

can we test military vehicles and commercial vehicles in the same emc chambers??

....thnx

emc test are of various types. if you are looking at what is leaking out of a vehicle, then you need a metal shield room to make sure anything you measure on your spectrum analyze is indeed coming from the car.

RF susceptibility testing, you often use the same metal chamber to protect the operator from the high electric fields leaking out at them, and the chambers often have absorber materials inside so that there are not room resonances going on that would make measurements hard to calibrate.
