electrogastrogram - interface using matlab ?

interface using matlab

my project is on electrogastrogram... we get the signal from the stomach using active electrode.. then we r using a signal amplifier... n we should interface it wit the pc... should b processed using MATLAB... in particular i need how to interface wit the pc... to use a serial port or parallel part.... give any idea if u know anything about this project.. we have not started yet... so please help...

I think Matlab is the best option. If u r using external buffer then use serial port.
