Electric cars with wheel motors

Hello,

Is it true that electric cars with wheel-motors (ie motor in each wheel) are destined to failure because they will break when the car goes over bumps?
 

Only if made in China or from a cheap design engineer.
 

not necessarily.
only you have to make proper suspension and synchronization between speed of all the motors along with crank mechanism.
