Hello,
I wish to build this small video modulator
RF MODULATOR D.I.Y.
I would like to make a version with the inductors etched on the PCB instead of hand wind.
The old DOS version of appcad can calculate spiral inductor values, so I think I can manage to do it. The problem is that I do not know the values of L1/L2 and L4. The author gives only instructions of how to wind them but I do not have a so low inductance meter to measure them. But they are not too critical I believe...
Any guess about the inductors values???
Inductors:
L1, L2 = 3.5 turns of 0.2 mm (SWG 35 or 36) CuL on a ferrite bead of about 3.5 x 3.5 mm
L4 = 1 turn of 0.8. . .1 mm (SWG 19...21) CuL, air wound with a diameter of 8 mm
