I would like to do simple address decoding using Atmel's ATF22V10C 7.5ns. I'm a CPLD newbie.

I understand that using Atmel's free software (WinCupl)I can generate a .jedec file to be used by my burner/programmer. I would have to manually enter in the formula's using the Wincupl language. I would rather not spend time learning the cryptic language.

Instead of entering in the formula's, I would like to draw up a schematic and create a vhdl file using orcad or altium, which than can be read in by WinCupl. Does this sound feasible? Would I be using the correct programs to do this?

TIA
