Hi,

I am following the circuit here https://www.hvlabs.com/Images/dcmotorcontroller.jpg
I am using 12V instead of 24V.

hv_labs_cct.png

I have not connected a pic to pin A and B yet. Instead I am using a potentiometer. I ground pin A and then drive B with the pot for one direction and then alternate for another direction. The problem is that when the pot is connected to 5V the motor starts right away at around 2.xx volts. But when I connect the pot to 12V, then I can control the speed. since I will be using a uController i will be supplying 5 volts (PWM) then this would be a problem?

What this behavior? anyone has experience with this chip?
