I need a schmatic driver for led cree xm-l t6 , with discret components(resistor,transistor,etc) .
3.2-3.7 V , 3000mA (max) .
Thx!

Informarion : led cree -> 3.2-3.7 V , 3000mA (max)
Starting from 0 (zerro) .

No,i want to use my reglable power supply (max 18.5V ) .
The output of driver led cree i want to be constantly , 3V-3A .

Why discrete components? That just makes things more complicated...

Do you need isolation? Dimming?

Power dissipated in a discrete component linear regulator:
(18.5- 3.5)*3= 45 watt

Power actually employed by the LED:
3.5 * 3 = 10.5 watt

Total power:
45 + 10.5 = 55.5 watt

Efficiency:
10.5/55.5 = 18.9%
