I use TI GC5325 co-operationing with NXP doherty. i'm just in a puzzle about the relationship between doherty's main amp saturation point and the average level after cfr's .
should they be the same?

In a Doherty amplifier the Carrier amplifier is in Class AB and saturates at the high power input, when the Peak amplifier operates in Class C, and is turning on at the high power input.

The average level to saturation is also called as PAR ( peak to average ratio)
It lies between 8.5 to 10.5 depend on the modulation scheme.

The final stage saturation point should be no less than average power plus the PAR after your CFR. The main amplifier(carrier) and peak amplifier should have the same saturation point at all.
