Doubt about Expedition PCB -DXF Export

Hello Everybody,

I am sankar.I am using Mentor Graphics Expedition PCB. Now i have some doubt about DXF Export. How to Export DXF?.
I tried to export DXF in Expedition PCB like, File--->Export--->DXF.
But it not create DXF.
Because there displayed one error message.The message is-(DXF Export Failed. Results are in "....PCB\Logfiles\DXFExportlog.txt").So i checked the report file in Logfiles. But DXFExportlog.txt file is not there.
So please Help me. How to solve this problem and how to create Dxf Export.

I'll waiting for ur comments. Please help me as soon as possible.

Try this;
File; Export;DXF.

Select boxes of items you want to export under "ExpPCB Elements"

Go to the "Save" box (disk symbol in the bottom of the selection box), and name the file that will be the exported DXF data. Select OK to save the file name.

Select OK to export the data.

This file will be located at ...PCB\Output\xxx.dfx after you save the file.

If this doesn't work, or you don't get a ...reportlogfile.txt, you may want to reload the complete program onto your hard drive again. A dll file may be missing, or not in the correct location.

But sorry i could not understand the meaning of :

what is save box?. Disk symbol means?

If you don't mind, can u send me picture of the disk symbol.

if u can Please help me. i'll waiting for ur reply.

what is save box?. Disk symbol means?

E-mail sent.

It's down on the lower left of the DXF out selection box.
It's the button next to the Scheme Local: box, and to the left of the red X.
I typed in "TOP", then click the save box.
