xilinx ise .backup
Does Xilinx ISE 10.1 (service pack 1, maybe 2, not sure) backup old files?
Have been working on this CPLD firmware for a while and got it to work. But then something happened to my Xilinx ISE project. When I’ve opened the file, there was no file tree and the project properties showed wrong silicon (CoolRunner instead of XC9500, which I have selected previously). I don’t recall that Xilinx ISE gave me any warnings. :Luckily, at least VHDL and schematic files remained intact.
By any chance, does Xilinx ISE make backup snapshots of the working files?
Is reconstruction of the project by hand the only option?
Cheers,
- Nick
