split by reducing the memory size?!, I means using multiple small instance instead one big memory?

Memory Splitting


In many systems, the memory capacity is designed for peak usage. During normal system activity, only a portion of memory is actually used at any given time.In many cases, it is possible to divide the memory into two or more sections and selectively power down unused section of memory.

Methodologies here is kind of implementation dependent, it's depend on the functionality and requirement. You can do architecture based on the requirement.

Let's say, if you have 2K memory , which used at peak time , peak usage will also have some condition by which your design will get to know when design is having peak usage ... based on that , you can enable parts of memory and rest you can put in powerdown mode ..
