Hello, I have taken a UPS over and it has a 'Replace Fan' alarm does anyone know how to reset it? It is made by chloride. I also have a siemens masterguard with same problem.
Are you sure that the value of this timer is in RAM, not in NVRAM with the rest of the settings and events logs. As far as I know in the powerful UPS APC and DE this is not the case. Is it enough to reset the timer to put UPS in service bypass mode at this time? You have done this? You need the UPS off for at least 4-6 hours. By then the logic battery will have fully discharged. When you start the UPS up again the countdown clocks will reset.
I do not check your competence, am surprised that so simple, you can reset this alarm. It's all just a money making gimmick that is extremely annoying for individuals and small business users.
