i want to make a switch on/off with 2 mosfet and i am using SI2301 for vishay 0,15Ohm max resistance.

but if i have a current like 1A the volage drop is 0,3V....

this is a large drop out if yoy have a battery based machine...

so i am looking for a mosfet with a smaller resistance and bigger current Id..

THX .....

Re: do you know a mosfet with smaller than 0,05Ohm resistanc

there are plenty of mosfets with smaller chanel resistance so look foor N channel mosfets those are the one with smaller resistances .the smaller the resistance the pricier those devices get .

Just going trougn my digikey CATALOG ,, i see a lot from FAIRCHILD like
NDB7060lct-ND RDSon = 0.015( $16 by one or half by 100)
there is even a 0.008

digikey is not the best plave to buy ,,but is the one that i consult at first because they carry a lot of stuff ..once i know who makes what i need then i look for the cheaper place to buy ,... i mean if i have to buy in bulk ..

1. If your apllication is "cost sensitive" - think about 2-4 parallel cheapest
mosfets, it is not so elegant, but work.
2. If you have such option, try to use bootstraping (Vgate>>Vdrain)
it will help for sure.

Ckeck out Internation Rectifiers www.irf.com. The high voltage mosfets are all very low Rdson

you can visit www.fairchildsemi.com website to find a appropriate mosfet part.

many other corporations also can provide these type of device, for example,

I&R (international rectifier).
