do anyone here know well in IGBT? i would like to know how the IGBT convert from DC to AC in the switching power supply in detail? plz help me. It is urgent
 

Hi,
A bridge circuit is used. Two IGBTs in the bridge are simultaneously turned on at 50/60Hz and then the other two. Then, the output becomes an AC waveform at 50/60Hz. This is for square/quasi sine waveforms. For sinusoidal it's slightly different, in the sense that the IGBTs are turned on at different duty cycles at a specific time period (of the modulation frequency).

Hi,

You can use a push pull circuit with Igbts to generate DC to AC. IGBT means Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistor.

This active component combines the power of FET and the durability of Bipolar transistor.
