Hi,

what is the specific command to tell diva extractor that two ground nets ('vssd' and 'vssa') are similar and that no multiple stamped connections exist. The solution to draw a supporting layer around one ground net isn't provided by the pdk.

Thanks

AFAIR we formerly used a work-around: an additional "external" connection between the 2 nodes.
It worked in Product Version 5.1.41 if I remember well.

They made me quit using Diva a few years before I left
my last straight job, but I believe there was in the LVS
forms somewhere, a place to forcibly join nets by name.

But if you can't pass LVS, to me it means that your
schematic does not express the reality of layout, and
it should. If you intend the vssa! and vssd! to be distinct
all the way out to the pads, then schematize it that way.
If the two are really the same net and you just have a
"digital guy, analog guy, no talky" type situation then make
the schematic show that they are connected, where they
are connected (hierarchy-wise), as Erik suggests, and then
again it's all good.

Neither one is "real" since nothing has been built, so don't
cling to one or the other as "golden". Just fix it with as
much realism as you can.
