Hi all, its been I while since I've been at the forum...

I've heard that a filter that doesn't distort for instance the audio signal needs to hav e linear phase.

How could I tell if I have distorsion or not through looking at a Bode-plot ?

Kindest regards,

If you mean distortion that caused by nonlinearity of transfer function I say no. Because during AC analysis all devices are linearized about DC operation point. So there is supposed no nonlinerity in your circuit. In this case better will be to see DC simulation result.
But for some cases like FM demodulator you can use AC analisys and Bode plot to predict possible distortion.
