distance between the feed and the radiating element

dear all,

I have fabricated a CPW FED SLOT antenna with 20 x 20 mm dimension. but the distance between the feed and the radiating patch is very less. will it affect the antenna very much? explain me in detail.

?)what feed line(Exsitation)?
