utmi+

Is it possible to interconnect 2 UTMI+ interfaces directly ?

The goal is to get rid of the PHY layer if both USB host and device are on the same board (for example a processor with a UTMI+ interface could be directly connected to a companion chip with the same interface).

Thanks for your help,
B.

Should design a protocol translation logic between with two link.

I think it is possible. You need a clock generator to send out the same clock frequency 30 or 60 Mhz for both controller as UTMI+ clock.
