Diode checking with diode "in-circuit"

Hi,
Please confirm, that if you have a boost converter PFC, and you do a diode check on the boost diode, then it will, no matter what kind of DMM you use, look like a diode in each direction, due to the DMM being able to "see" the FET's internal diode through the boost output capacitor?
