dil28

I am trying to make my first PCB layout using Eagle.

I need to use 28 pin IC in my circuit, so I am going to use 28-pic DIP socket.

But I am not able to find 28-DIP socket in eagle library, all I have Package: DIL28-3

No socket.

DIL28-3 and DIL28-3-socket are same ??

Because I can see DIL14 and SOCKET-14 are different parts.

Any help would be great thanks.
sorry for noobie question

socket 40 pin eagle library

From the library ic-package.lbr use the device DIL28 (standard 600mil), not DIL28-3 (300mil) and not DIL28-4 (400mil). Can't you find that?

dil28 eagle

I can find that.
is it same thing ?I want to use socket ?

I thought this is for ICs ( not socket). I really want to use DIP socket in my board so I can change ICs.
