I am interested in controlling a FM radio receiver using a microcontroller.

Does anyone know of a design to use as a reference for building a FM radio, which is tuned using digital signals?

FM Radio Module normally has a voltage input feed to a varactor for frequency tuning purpose.
On Digitally controlled FM receiver, use DAC (Digiltal Analog Converter) to control the varactor when selecting frequency.

The best solution is to use a PLL circuit connected to the microcontroller
