PIC16F877 HELP

I AM TRYING TO DESIGN DIGITAL POWER METER USING PIC16F877 AND CCS C COMPILER BUT I NEED SOMEBODY TO GUIDE ME ON HOW TO WRITE THE PROGRAM CODE. WHAT I DID NOT UNDERSTAND IS AFTER READING THE PORTS HOW DO I USE THE VALUES FROM THE ADC AND USED THEM IN COMPUTATIONS AND THE DISPLAY IN 4-DIGITS 7-SEGMENT

PLEASE I NEED SOMEONE TO TECH ME THESE.
