Digital design question

I have two black boxes ( X and Y )
each has two inputs ( A and B ) and each has one Output ( Out1 , Out2)

when both Inputs ( A and B ) are 0 then output of X is 1 for other inputs of X output is 'z' on the other hand if ( A and B ) are 1 then output of Y is 0 and for other inputs of Y output is 'z'

so I have to design XOR gate by using X and Y

can anyone provide the solution.

Dear dude,

U have said as X any Y are giving their uotputs and 1 and 0 depaending on their
corrosponding inputs.

But my question is what is your requrinment.

1) with those output do u need to which gate to construct
2) or which gate is X and Y

if u need to design XOR gate it will me much more clearly explain in digital design by morris mano..........so go through it.

i think it's not possible to design a XOR gate using X and Y...
(at least i can not able to do that...)

Great, who gave you that question ? Really it reminds me about my digital design teacher, she always prefer those trick like that .
And beside from my opinion it's not possible to build the XOR gate from your 2 black boxes.
