differnce b/n microprocessor and microcontroller

give me atleast ten points in the difference between the microprocessors and microcontrollers on the Embedded based system.
 

Microcontroller has no memory, UARTS, registers etc etc.
 

8O , microcontroller HAS memory , registers , uart adn ... and there is a microprossesor in it too .
there are timers , counters , and ... in microcontrollers , but microprossesor is only CPU .
 

Loosely speaking a micrcontroller is a complete computer in itself, with its own RAM, ROM, Ports etc. Where as you have to add all these (plus other things) to a microprocessor to make a computer.

BTW: Both microcontrollers as well as microprocessors have registers.
