Hello

There are many different LAN controllers from:
Microchip, Cirrus, Micrel, SMSC, TI, Intel, Davicom, Infineon, ISC, Realtek, VIA Tech.

https://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/browse.jsp?N=1004403&No=25

What is amazing about them is big difference in price, its range is from $ 2 up to $ 30.

They are capable of 100mbps and PHY and MAC is included.
So what is really reason of such big difference in prices?
