Difference between PCIe and AXI(AMBA)

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the basic difference between PCIe and AXI?
1.I know one thing that both are interconnects.Both are on-chip.
2.PCIe is Intels and AXI is ARM.

I dont know much about PCIe, but PCIe is not an On-Chip Communication Protocol like AXI. PCIe is an Off-Chip protocol.
