cadence msfb

What is the difference between icfb and msfb commands when starting Cadence?

msfb cadence

msfb doesn't include P&R tools; icfb includes most of Cadence tools.
You may find more information in openbook.
System Administration -> Configuration Guide -> Design Framework II Configuration

icfb version

I think 'msfb' is mixed signal & 'icfb' is ic (full custom layout). Just a framework. Most tools are same that they use.

what is the difference between icfb & msfb

msfb stand for mix-signal front to back

icfb msfb icms

there are 'icms' & 'icde', 'icca' etc. so check 'openbook'.
for i know, use icfb with layout edit ...; use icds with schematic entry & logic simulation.
icfb can start the most toools of ic package.
