Dear all,

could it cause any kind of damage if a device (ex. a TV set) connected to Phase 1 of a 400V outlet getting connected to another (SetTopBox) which is on the Phase 2 of the same outlet?
Could the 120 degree phase shift cause any problem?

thanks,
Zedman

I hope that you mean that you are connecting the devices between a Phase and Neutral.

As long as both Phases share the same neutral, then it does not matter.

I have three phase at home, and various power points and lights are powered between the different phases and neutral.

That is how the system is works.

Yes of course they use the same neutral. I was just worried about the phase difference.

thanks,
