designing helical aerial

I am interested in designing an aerial for a 1 watt radio to operate in the VHF band.

Is there any software that will allow the aerial to be modelled and matched to the transmitter?

type "NEC" or "num electromagn calcul " in GOOGLE.COM and u'll have a lot of the free soft for this.
