Hi everyone...
I hav to design wide beamwidth 120 deg and 10% bandwidth active phased array in x-band..i want to know whether waveguide or planar antenna element will be suitable...considering large size array
can anybody share some antenna geometries with me ...papers will be OK

need some quick suggestions

active phased array

hi
I do in this field too. nice to meet you
My Yahoo is nnanh_peace@yahoo.com> you can add this one with MSN or YH
I have some antenna geometries to share with you.

Why don't you share them here in this board? Other members can benefit from it and give you their feedbacks!

I am afraid that I must get the allowance of the author so that I can not share in public

Are you from VN. Like to meet you here. Can I get your YH ID. We may have a lot of things to discuss.

Re: active phased array

could you detail for which application you need X-Band "large" antenna ?

active phased array

in X band i think that all the antenna is small!!

Re: active phased array

You cannot say that the antenna will be small because is X-band antenna ! the size of the antenna depends on the beams that you want !!

for example X-band are the SAR antennas (flat antennas typically, but ome are reflector) and the size of these antennas are in the range 10-6m in azimuth and 1.5-2.5m in elevation ! they are not small antenna.
