Design of antenna for short range

I need antenna design at 865 MHz to 870 MHz,size as small as possible.
 

You can go for a planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) design and see the relevant design details at some standard cell-phone antennas textbooks.
 

In fact you have many choice, there is some other parameters like Pattern or gain,
then you could make your antenna smaller using loads or matching circuits, by the way you will see that by making your antenna smaller, antenna efficincy, gain and bandwidth will degrade
