i am designing a patch antenna using meta material in ie3d software...i have done the making of patch antenna but i have no idea to select a design of metamaterial which increases my gain at 2.4 ghz..
i want to make an antenna at 2.4 ghz...

so plz suggest the designs of metamaterial at 2.4 ghz rectangular patch antenna...

Hi.
by optimizing the design parameters of your anisotropic layer, the gain can be increased.for anisotropic layer these parameters are:
εx,εz,µx,µz and the thickness of layer(d).
then you can design this anisotropic layer with metamaterial.for this case i suggest to use ELC(electric-LC metamaterial).
