Can anyone help me to derive the input impedance (the dynamic resistance at resonance) of this RLC circuit?

I dont really get what the input impedance is and how to derive them from the first principles...

Just think of the impedances the same way you think of resistance. (Forget about the complex part for now)

Zl=j*2*pi*F*L
Zc=1/(j*2*pi*F*C)

Zeq=(Zl+R)*Zc/(Zl+R+Zc)

Can you please explain further how did you get
Zeq = (Zl+R)*Zc/(Zl+R+Zc)?
is it the total impedances?
