Hey World,

My question is regarding the debug mode on the PIC32mx. I am experiencing a peculiar situation where certain variables are the correct values in debug mode but in program mode they are all set to zero. I was wondering if you guys have experienced any issues regarding debug mode and the normal operation of the PIC.

I don't tend to use debug mode but have never noticed any problems with normal mode.
are you using a development board or your own PCB?
are the variables global or automatic initialised at RESET and then loose the values or are you doing calculations and then values are being lost?
