DCM SEPIC converter is intrinsically stable?

The power stage of a dcm sepic converter is such that the closed loop feedback phase is always less then 180 degrees, therefore you can never go unstable with dcm sepic, and you must simply ensure that you get your phase margin high enough that you dont get annoying ringing in vout?

is this true?
