Hello,

One of my customers has a standalone datalogger connected to a G24 GSM modem. It receives calls from another GSM modem conected to a PC located at his office. This link works ok.

In order to reconfigure some parameters, I have to call to the datalogger GSM modem using my latptop PSTN modem. As I've read in other threads, the GSM modem does not performs the handshake routine.

Why when the GSM modems calls to the other GMS modem, the link works ok?

Is it possible to "force" my PSTN laptop modem to work in 9600 8n1 (I guess this is the GSM data link configuration) without performing the handshake routine?

Thanks and regards!
Pablo.
